Thank You WCBN Community!

WCBN raised over $20,000 thanks to the generous support of listeners in our community! Thank you to everyone who "resubscribed" to the inventive, exploratory, nonconformist freeform radio experiment that is WCBN. Your support will keep us on the air another year. In the mean time, we will do our best to get premia gifts packed and shipped!

Even though our fundraiser is over, listeners can still donate to the station using the Donate tab above. Support of any amount at any time is always welcome and greatly appreciated.

About Us

WCBN is the University of Michigan student-run community freeform radio station in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We broadcast at 88.3 FM to the University and its surrounding communities from the Basement of the Student Activities Building in downtown Treetown. We are governed by our Constitution.

Our emphasis is on alternative broadcasting, exposing our listenership to things they can't hear on other radio stations. Our Program Guide is published once per semester; sometimes as a poster and sometimes as a 16 or 24-page booklet. For more information about what we play, check out our Programming Department.

We have some history of the Network available online -- we've been around for over 50 years in one form or another, so our history is quite extensive.

Tech heads can check out our facilities / equipment list.
