WCBN Sports is a tremendous opportunity for students interested in
broadcast communications and management.
on-air experience
Our station gives unheard-of opportunities for
students who want to get involved in the actual broadcasting and reporting
of sporting events. Within weeks of learning how to report and
understanding the radio process, our journalists actually go "on air."
engineering & production
Learn how to produce sporting events. Master
the magic of radio engineering and help bring live broadcasts "to
life."
underwriting, sales & public
relations
Our department is dependent on
all the business functions of a commercial radio station. We utilize ad
campaigns, promotions, a sales force, and creative business minds in
promoting and funding our station and its broadcasts. This is a great way
to stack you resume, with hands-on marketing of sports radio!
